San Jose, CA – November 17, 2015. ScootPad, a leading adaptive learning platform, has just announced the availability of Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) simulation assessments for grades 3-8 in Math and English Language Arts (ELA).
ScootPad developed these simulation assessments from the ground-up and precisely aligned with the SBAC blueprint encompassing the same technology enhanced item formats, rigor, depth of knowledge (DOK) and Common Core standards. These practice assessments are ideal to predict skill and concept gaps while helping ensure that students are ready for SBAC summative assessments in the spring.
Educators can simply choose a simulation assessment and assign to students. District and School administrators can “push” these assessments school-wide or district-wide to all students with just a few clicks. Students can launch assessments from their dashboard and experience the simulated SBAC summative testing environment at their finger tips. Educators have immediate access to assessment results providing actionable insights about skill gaps and overall student readiness.
ScootPad also released the Assessment Generator, a tool to help educators easily generate unlimited interim assessments leveraging the best content shared by the ScootPad community. Teachers are encouraged to assign interim assessments before taking the SBAC simulated test. Furthermore, educators can create their own assessment content using 50+ technology-enhanced item formats (step-by-step videos available) to develop their very own assessments simulating their own SBAC testing environments.
