ScootPad and ClassLink Now Integrated to Deliver Single Sign-On

San Jose, CA – March 15, 2016. ScootPad, a leading adaptive learning platform, announced availability of seamless single sign-on integration with ClassLink.

ClassLink and ScootPad are leveraging Learning Tools Interoperability® (LTI) to provide a rich integration of two world-class platforms. Schools, developers, and publishers that embrace specifications like LTI have better, more secure, and faster connections between digital education resources, making life easier for school IT teams and making teaching and learning more effective inside and beyond the classroom.

ScootPad CEO and Co-Founder, Bharat Kumar, lauded the partnership, saying, “Given the increased demand for differentiated learning, have a partner like ClassLink that can improve access is key to our success.” Kumar continued, “We’re also very happy with how easy it is to work with ClassLink via open technology standards from IMS Global Learning. ClassLink charges no fees to partners, a major barrier with other single sign-on platforms, and is able make connections with incredible speed.”

ClassLink CEO, Berj Akian, echoed the sentiments of Kumar, stating, “ScootPad is an innovator in the area of adaptive learning and we’re pleased to partner with an organization that can fully harness the power of digital learning. Akian continued, “We’re experiencing a rising tide of partners in education that view ClassLink as the best path forward when it comes to creating equitable access. Our relationship with ScootPad reflects our commitment to be fully inclusive, ensuring that with one user name and password, teachers and students have everything they need to be successful. It’s that simple.”
